Lake Fork Trophy Bass Survey - April 2008 Print
Articles - BASS
Trophy bass reports for April 2008 were about 10% above what we saw last April.  The weather interfered with fish and fishing and it threw normal spawning behavior out the window!  This month we just exceeded 9,000 fish.  Over the course of 61 months, we have averaged about 148 fish / month.  Of the entries that are weighed, 16% were 10 pounds or bigger, and of the measured fish, almost 1/3 were 24 inches or bigger.  Nowhere but Lake Fork!
